Most smart-home gear sold by the big DIY brands looks like a 5-minute job — until you realise older UK lighting circuits often don't have a neutral wire at the switch (only live + switched-live), which means most smart switches won't work without rewiring. Or your Ring doorbell needs a 16-24V transformer that the existing chime can't supply. Or your Nest needs a low-voltage common wire your boiler doesn't have.
We do the actual electrical install: pulling neutrals where smart switches need them, fitting low-voltage transformers for video doorbells, wiring 4-wire boiler controls for Nest learning thermostats, putting in proper smart-lighting controllers (Lutron Caseta, Hue Pro, Shelly), and making sure everything is tested and certified.

Most likely: your light switch doesn't have a neutral wire (older UK installs only have live + switched-live at the switch). Most smart switches need a neutral. We can either retro-fit a neutral, or fit no-neutral-needed switches like Lutron Caseta or Shelly i3.
Often yes — most Ring Pro / Pro 2 setups need a hardwired 16-24V transformer and you may need to remove the existing mechanical chime. Battery Ring is plug-and-play but Pro is permanent and best done properly.
Usually yes — the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen needs a "C wire" (common) which most older UK installs don't have. We retro-fit it during install. Without a C wire the Nest battery drops within months.
