Complete rewires for older properties — fuse-board to last socket, all to 18th-Edition standards. NAPIT-registered, Building Control notified, certificate in hand at the end.
From £3,995. Typical 3-bed semi: £3,995–£5,995. Fixed-price written quote, free survey.
A full house rewire replaces every cable, socket, switch, lighting circuit and the consumer unit. We start by lifting first-floor floorboards (carefully, you'll never know they came up) and pulling new twin-and-earth and lighting cables back to a fresh 18th-Edition consumer unit with full RCBO protection. Sockets and switches are upgraded to current spec, smoke + heat alarms are wired in to comply with Yorkshire fire regs, and every circuit is tested before re-energising.
Most 3-bed semis take 3-5 working days. We dust-sheet every room, hoover at the end, and minimise wall-chasing wherever possible. Once finished, the work is registered with NAPIT and Building Control automatically — the paperwork comes to you, not from a separate inspector visit.
A full rewire is the right answer when: cabling is pre-1970s rubber/cloth (insulation cracking), you're moving in and the EICR has come back with multiple Code 1 / Code 2 failures, you're extending and the existing circuits won't handle modern loads, or you're prepping a property for sale and need a clean spark certificate.
Free on-site survey to scope every circuit, count sockets, photograph the consumer unit and discuss what to keep where.
Fixed-price quote in writing within 48 hours. Itemised: rewire, consumer unit, smoke alarms, making-good.
Floors up, new cables in, sockets and switches replaced, consumer unit fitted, all tested and certified.
EIC (Electrical Installation Certificate) issued + Building Control notification through NAPIT. Yours in days.
Notifiable work registered with Building Control automatically — you stay legal, certificate in hand.
All work installed to BS 7671:2024 — the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Amendment 3). Current UK standard for safe installation.
Quote in writing before work starts. Number on the quote = number on the invoice.

Most 3-bed semis are 3-5 working days. Larger detached or older terraced houses may run 5-7 days. We give you a definite timeline in writing before we start so you can plan accordingly.
No, but power will be off for whole zones during the day. Most clients stay put and we work room-by-room so the kettle still works. If you have small kids or pets, easier to be elsewhere during the day.
We minimise chasing wherever possible — pulling cables through existing voids, lifting boards, working in the loft. Where chasing is unavoidable we re-plaster and skim before we leave. The walls will need painting (not our job, but we leave them paint-ready).
From £3,995 starting price. Typical 3-bed semi: £3,995-£5,995 depending on cabling complexity, consumer unit choice and property age. Larger detached homes £6,500-£9,000. We quote fixed-price in writing — the number you see is the number you pay.
Yes, automatically. As NAPIT-registered electricians we self-certify Part P notifiable work — the certificate is registered with NAPIT and your local Building Control without you having to lift a finger. You receive the paperwork by post.
We work around existing alarms and underfloor heating but normally don't move them — quoted separately if needed. We'll discuss this on the survey so it's clear in the quote.
